A free tool that computes a Chinese birth chart — the Four Pillars, or BaZi — from your birth details and writes a reading of it. That is the whole product.
The short version
- The chart is computed by code, the same way every time.
- The reading is written by a language model, from the computed chart alone.
- There is no human reader and no consultation.
- There is no account, and nothing is stored on our server.
- It is currently free.

How it is built
The chart is calculated by deterministic code. That part must not be wrong, so it is verified rather than trusted: two independent implementations of the same rules are run against a shared set of test cases and compared field by field.
The written reading is a separate step, running on the finished chart. The full sequence is here.
What the AI does
The model receives a short structured description of your chart — the four pillars, the day master, the element distribution. It receives nothing else: not your birth date, time, or city. It is told to describe patterns the tradition associates with the chart, and not to state what will happen to you.
Worth being clear about
A language model writing about a symbolic system is doing exactly that. It is not measuring you, and it knows nothing about your life beyond those eight characters. If a paragraph feels accurate, that is worth noticing — and worth a little suspicion. Readings describe broad human patterns, and broad patterns tend to feel true.
What we don’t do
- No predictions. We do not tell you what will happen, when, or to whom.
- No advice. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
- No human readers. No practitioner is on the other end, and nothing you submit reaches a person.
- No accuracy claims. We have no study and no data. Anyone who says a system like this is reliably accurate is selling something.
Your birth details
- Sent to our server to compute the chart — and to the model only in the reduced form above.
- Not stored on our server. There is no database of users.
- Kept in your own browser, so returning does not mean typing them again. The reading is cached there too.
- Forget my details, at the bottom of your chart, erases all of it — as does clearing your browser storage.
Why it is free
It is early. The reading and the report are open while the thing is being built, and we would rather have people use it and tell us what is wrong.
The free reading will stay free. If the longer report ever costs something, it will say so on this page rather than at a checkout.

We are working with a thousand-year-old body of writing, so mistakes are likely somewhere. If a page gets a source wrong or mangles a term, tell us — the historical pages in particular are meant to survive being checked.
